Antonio F. Mondragón‑Torres, Ph.D., MBA is an accomplished engineering leader, educator, and innovator with over two decades of experience in digital and embedded systems, wireless communications, signal processing, and mixed‑signal integrated circuit design. A Senior Member of the IEEE and holder of multiple U.S. and international patents, he blends deep technical expertise with a proven ability to transform ideas into scalable technologies.

Antonio currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology, where he leads curriculum modernization and teaches courses in renewable energy, embedded systems, digital signal processing, and building‑energy management. His academic work builds on years of developing industry‑aligned engineering programs, leading major capstone initiatives, securing significant corporate lab support, and mentoring students through research and applied innovation.

His industry career includes senior engineering leadership roles at Acuity Brands, Latch, Intel, Texas Instruments, and multiple technology startups. He has led the development of smart‑building wireless systems, IoT‑enabled security technologies, advanced chip‑design verification teams, and large‑scale FPGA and SoC initiatives. Antonio’s career is marked by his ability to build high‑performing technical teams, drive innovation, and guide complex engineering programs from concept to fully realized products.
