Paul Ashcraft

Paul Ashcraft is a licensed patent agent and intellectual property strategist with a strong foundation in chemical sciences and a J.D. from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law. With over a decade of experience in research, patent prosecution, and IP portfolio management, Paul has played a pivotal role in protecting and commercializing innovations across the chemical, energy, and technology sectors. 

He has managed thousands of patents, including within one of the top 50 U.S. patent portfolios, and led global freedom-to-operate analyses for multimillion-dollar products. Paul is highly skilled in U.S. and international patent law, including PCT filings, invalidity and non-infringement strategies, and IP due diligence. His leadership in competitive intelligence and internal IP training has helped organizations align innovation with strategic business goals. 

Paul is also a published thought leader on topics such as AI inventorship, esports licensing, and IP analytics, and continues to be a trusted advisor for companies navigating the evolving landscape of intellectual property.
